If the drain holes are being blocked by the sealing strip you may be able to adjust the door on its hinges so that it sits just a little lower so that some of the hole is not.
The seating at the bottom of the door fills up with water which then leaks onto the floor behind it.
Whether your door is sagging or bowed or just not making proper contact with the weatherstrip to seal out.

I suggest you check where the drain holes in the door are in relation to the sealing strip on the front of the threshold.
It opens from the outside with the key but when you lift the handle and attempt to double lock it the key wont turn.
If you have drafts coming from your door it might be worth checking the condition of the door and frame rubber seals as over time they can perish or become worn.
